Summer Days

A poem about the summer we miss

Photo by Sean O. on Unsplash

I miss the wind
when it caresses my skin

I miss the sense of ease, comfort and freedom
the laughter on a summer day
the day I have nothing to do
but enjoy what nature gifts us

I miss the melody of wind chimes
when I went to get ice cream in the shop
